OUR HISTORY

Our story started in 1978 with Mr. Idro Taban engaging in business and trade, after being orphaned and unable to continue high school. Mr. Idro started off with selling fuel in Arua town, till he saved enough to buy his first truck.

With time, the need to expand pushed him to solve 1990's transport complexities in Uganda and with this founded KK Transporters Ltd in 1999.

Today, KK Transporters is the flagship company of the KK Group of companies, which now comprises of several companies in four different industries.

HOW WE WORK

We encourage working in teams within all small and large aspects of our businesses. This concept helps create a sense of teamwork amongst our group heads.

This enables each company head to learn from challenges faced by the other group companies in order to produce better overall service to our customers.
